Quinte Health is committed to providing accessible on-line services to our patients, families and visitors. We review our website content regularly and ensure that our standards comply with the standards set-out in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 as per the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.

 

We present information in high contrast ratios that usually meet and exceed the requirements of WCAG 2.0. Images are always presented with a filled-in meaningful Alt attribute, so that they can be understandable by screen readers. Web pages are laid out using semantic structures such as headings, lists, labels etc., to make them easier to navigate using any accessible tools. Text resizable option is available throughout the website.
