Due to COVID-19, family presence in our Quinte Health hospitals is restricted to protect the safety of patients, staff and families. To ensure patients are able to connect with loved ones and to enhance the patient experience, we are pleased to offer virtual visits between patients and their loved ones.
If the patient you are wishing to connect with has their own device (smart phone, tablet, laptop) within the hospital, they can connect to the hospital Wi-Fi (free of charge) and set up their own video chat with you using ZOOM, FaceTime, or whichever platform they prefer. If they need assistance connecting to the Wi-Fi, please contact email@example.com
If the patient you are wishing to connect with does not have their own device, a Quinte Health facilitator can assist by using a hospital tablet to connect you (free of charge). Virtual visits are not intended for medical updates. Please contact the health care team through the patient's unit for any medical updates. Once the form below is submitted, you will receive an email (to the email address you provide) confirming the date/time, ZOOM link, and instructions on how to connect.
