It’s a welcome shot in the arm for QHC’s frontline staff and physicians
It’s a welcome shot in the arm for QHC’s frontline staff and physicians
Today, a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic for highest priority frontline staff and physicians at Quinte Health Care was launched in the Education Centre at Belleville General Hospital.  Dr. Julie Bryson, a Belleville-based Family Physician who is also QHC’s Chief of Family Medicine, and Jayla Kirkham, a Registered Nurse who works at QHC Trenton Memorial Hospital, were the first two vaccine recipients at QHC.   “Getting the vaccine is a tremendous relief following a demanding year dealing with the pandemic - we are finally on the offensive in the war against COVID,” explained Dr.
Please bring a mask to QHC hospitals
Now that COVID-19 community prevalence is low, and the importance of proper masking is well established throughout our region, QHC no longer feels it is necessary to hand out medical masks to each patient and care partner/visitor who arrives at our hospitals. Please bring a clean, dry, appropriate mask from home. Please review appropriate masks here. In some cases, such as visits to the emergency department, you may still be provided a medical mask as an extra precaution. Patients who are staying in the hospital for multiple days (inpatients) will be provided with hospital masks.
Couriers and contractors asked to use Sills back entrance at BGH

Please park in the marked spaces (see photo). There will be a screener at the door who can accept drop off items and/or screen anyone who requires entry.  Items being dropped off for patients (e.g. personal belongings, flowers, etc.) can still go to the Sills front entrance. Thank you for your assistance
