Reminder of what to do if you have symptoms of COVID-19.   Have symptoms of COVID-19?  Don’t go anywhere yet.  Stay away from others.  If you have mild or moderate COVID-19 symptoms such as cough and fever: You can do the online assessment. You can call your Health Care provider or Hastings Prince Edward Public Health at 613-966-5500; TTY 711; 1-800-267-2803 or Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000.   You can self-refer to a local COVID-19 Assessment Centre by calling: 613-961-5544 (to avoid long distance charges in the Bancroft area, call 613-332-2825 ext. 2222).
Additional Restrictions to Visitors - Quinte 7 Maternity
Attention: Maternity Patients  **IMPORTANT UPDATE effective APRIL 8, 2020*** Due to community spread of COVID-19 we are forced to heighten our precautions on the Maternal Child Unit at QHC Belleville General Hospital (Quinte 7).   Effective immediately, we are asking that all pregnant patients please call the Maternal Child Unit at QHC (613-969-7400 extension 2345) prior to coming to Quinte 7 for any reason.  This includes reasons such as when you feel you may be in labour or your membranes may have ruptured.  This will allow the health care team to pre-screen you and direct you
QHC discontinues sick notes during COVID-19 pandemic
Quinte Health Care is discontinuing issuing sick notes during the course of the COVID-19 pandemic In order to preserve health care resources, including Personal Protective Equipment, Quinte Health Care Emergency Departments will not be providing sick notes until further notice.
