Cheryl McCormack, Facility Services Representative (FSR), was working her usual evening shift cleaning Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital (PECMH) when she noticed that the freezer was leaking in the PECMH Auxiliary office. She called PECMH Foundation senior development officer, Briar Boyce, at home around 7:30 p.m. to notify her of the issue. Briar called the Auxiliary president and, due to quick action, a crisis was averted by 8:30 p.m. The Auxiliary had been loaning their freezer to the Picton Food Bank and if Cheryl hadn’t taken initiative and reported the problem, numerous frozen

I had to bring my 2.5-year-old daughter into Trenton Memorial Hospital for an ear infection and the moment Dr. Ryan walked in, my daughter was at ease.
