Nursing Incentives Available at Quinte Health Care

Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN) - $10,000

Eligibility (*Not applicable to new/future Nursing Graduates)

  • Not have been employed as a nurse in Ontario in the six months prior to being hired;
  • Hold a Certificate of Registration in good standing from the College of Nurses of Ontario;
  • Begin employment no later than November 15, 2021;
  • Commit to 12-months of employment at a full-time work schedule offered by the employer; and
  • Not simultaneously receive funds from the Ministry of Health for the Tuition Support Program for Nurses.

  • RPN – Part-time - Quinte 6 Medicine/Quinte 5 Acute Medicine – Belleville General Hospital
  • RPN – Part-time - Transition Pool – Multi-site – Belleville General Hospital Home
  • RPN – Part-time - In-patient Unit – Trenton

Compensation Details

  • Nurses are paid in three instalments:
    • $3,000 after the completion of four (4) months;
    • $3,000 after the completion of eight (8) months; and
    • $4,000 after the completion of twelve (12) months.

RN Critical Care Capacity Out of Province Relocation - $15,000

Reimbursement of relocation costs for out-of-province nurses to introduce net-new staff in facilities with greatest need.

Eligibility (*Not applicable to new/future Nursing Graduates)

  • Must be an out of Province Nurse within Canada;
  • 2-year employment commitment to work in ICUs or Critical Care Units offered by the employer; and
  • Eligible for Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Compensation Details
