About the North Hastings District Hospital Auxiliary (NHDHA):

The North Hastings District Hospital Auxiliary has been in existence since 1985. During that time we have expanded into many areas of fundraising. These initiatives have generated more than $1.8 million dollars for our excellent local Hospital.

We have the Corner Café, completely staffed by volunteers, its adjacent 'Book Nook' where visitors may sit and browse the library or buy a book or two or three for very reasonable prices.  We staff an information centre for visitors to the hospital and we run the New to You clothing store on Hastings Street in downtown Bancroft. 

We are also involved in all sorts of fund-raising events including the popular Radiothon and many others. Our cheerful band of volunteers is willing to tackle all sorts of endeavours to benefit our Hospital which, we all agree, we are most fortunate to have in our small town.  Each year, our team of approximately 100 members contribute thousands of volunteer hours in support of North Hastings Hospital and we have a lot of fun doing it!  We have a supportive, collaborative and dynamic group of volunteers.  Consider applying to join the team!
