Code Red

The purpose of the Code Red is to define the process for all staff, patients and visitors to follow in responding to a fire, fire alarm or smell of smoke.

If fire or smoke is discovered, remember R.A.C.E.

Remove
Remove all endangered persons

Alert
Activate the nearest fire alarm pull station
Call (613) 969-7400, ext. 5999 and state name and location of fire

Contain the Fire
Close all doors, windows and other openings

Evacuate
Leave the area as directed
