Registered Nurses-Transition Pool

As a member of our dynamic multidisciplinary team the successful candidates will utilize the Nursing Process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care. Candidates will be assigned to the clinical areas based on interest and skill. We currently require Registered Nurses for our Perioperative Program, Inpatient Surgical Unit, Intensive Care and Medicine Unit.

Qualifications for our Perioperative Program will include: Completion of the Post Graduate Certificate in Post Anaesthesia Nursing or Critical Care or Completion of a Post Graduate Program in Operating Room Technique. As well, current experience, within past 3 years, in post anaesthesia care, same day surgery or critical care environment and a current CPR certificate are required.  
 
Additionally, Registered Nurses with various other backgrounds will be considered for the Transition Pool depending on the requirements at the time. As the successful candidate you will require licensure or be eligible for licensure with the CNO.
