Quinte Health Care News
...Our lives were turned upside down on Feb. 25 after we lost our home and pets to a massive fire. Thankfully, our family is safe, which is the most important part of this whole experience.
A heartfelt thank you for all of your generous donations of time, money and clothing...While the experience of a house fire will be etched as one of our biggest memories, your acts of kindness will likely be a much more vivid memory.
The compassion and generosity that has been shown to us by the staff on Sills 5 started while the fire was still burning with team leader, Heather arriving and providing emotional support. This continued for the next several weeks with all staff giving words of encouragement and support, providing clothing and an overwhelming monetary donation.
We will never forget the incredible support you have all given. ‘Thank you’ is such a small comment, but it comes from the bottom of our hearts.
