The North Hastings District Hospital Auxiliary's Radiothon on Moose FM is Friday, August 17th 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday, August 18 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. All proceeds raised go toward the NH Fund Development Committee's $700,000 imaging fundraising campaign Clearly Better. This includes $510,000 for renovated radiology room and x-ray equipment, and $195,000 for renovated ultrasound room and equipment.
One story featured is about Dr. Greg Cooper and Jordan Cooper, who are riding their bikes from Inuvik, North West Territories to Vancouver, British Columbia. Their journey is in honour of their wife and mother, Carolyn Brown who just successfully underwent brain surgery!
