Family Medicine- Trenton

Quinte Health Care (QHC) is a multi-site hospital that provides primary and secondary services to a diverse catchment area of approximately 150,000 people in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties and the southeast portion of Northumberland County. QHC Trenton Memorial offers primary and some secondary care to the residents of Quinte West. QHC Trenton Memorial is the district centre for ambulatory surgery and has 33 inpatient beds.

Opportunities

The Department of Community Family Medicine at Quinte Health Care is seeking additional family physicians to join their team. Responsibilities include: inpatient care, orphan patient care and call obligations. The department has an innovative call model which includes hospitalists work as well. Physicians enjoy full speciality support and access to state of the art diagnostic equipment including an onsite multi-slice CT scanner with a Picture Archiving and Communication System and an MRI at Belleville General. Physicians have the opportunity to join a family health team. Additionally, the community has established the Quinte West Medical Centre which offers a turn key work environment for interested physicians.
