The Children's Treatment Centre at Quinte Health Care provides multidisciplinary assessment and rehabilitation to children from birth to nineteen years of age who present with physical, neurological and developmental difficulties. We are one of 20 Children's Treatment Centres in Ontario, which are linked through the Ontario Association of Children's Rehabilitation Services (OACRS). Every year, we provide over 4,500 visits to approximately 375 children and families who live in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. |
Our Centre provides the following services:
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech-Language Therapy
- Psychometry
- Social Work
- Paediatric Consultation
- Orthopaedic Consultation
Children are seen at the Centre, in their homes, in schools or nursery schools, or in our satellite clinic in Trenton. Services are provided in a friendly, family-centred environment, with emphasis on multidisciplinary assessment and treatment.
